In response to customer feedback and to further enhance security, Pitt Digital is introducing two enhancements on June 10 that will make it simpler and more convenient to recover a forgotten password and log in.
- Easier forgotten password recovery
Beginning June 10, individuals can reset passwords more quickly with an authentication code through their Duo Mobile app, improving the customer experience and strengthening security. The option to answer security questions remains available.
- Show/hide password toggle
After new requirements for stronger and longer passwords took effect on February 11, some individuals indicated it would be helpful to see their password as they typed it. On June 10, a new show/hide toggle will give individuals the option to view their password while entering it, minimizing login frustration and errors.
These enhancements continue to build on recent security improvements implemented by Pitt Digital and lay the groundwork for future improvements to the login experience.
