With PittGPT, users can safely access powerful GenAI technology, built to comply with our high security standards for private and restricted University data. Unlike public tools, PittGPT operates within a closed system, ensuring that sensitive data is never shared externally.

- Log in with your University computing account to start a chat at gpt.pitt.edu.
- Write effective prompts using the CREATE framework.
- Streamline repetitive processes by creating or using available templates.
- Quickly reference relevant files in your chats by creating data collections.
Note that PittGPT is specifically designed for securely working with sensitive information, accommodating up to 50 messages per user per day.
